Betty A. Spangrud, age 93, Sartell, MN, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Country Manor Care Center, Sartell, MN.

There will be no funeral services. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Betty was born December 8, 1923 in Long Island, NY. She married Homer P. Spangrud. Betty was employed as a registered nurse during her life.

Survivors include sons and daughters, Todd Spangrud of Gilbert, AZ; Paul Spangrud of Minneapolis, MN; Nancy (Steven) Raetz of Sartell, MN; and Corinne Klotz of Northfield, NJ; and grandchildren, Sarah, Beth, Courtney, Morgan and Michael.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Homer and daughter, Karen.
