ANOKA (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a 95-year-old Anoka man who was found slain in his home.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office Tuesday identified the victim as Albert John Loehlein, but said there is no new information to share on the killing.

Police were called Monday morning after Loehlein was found dead by a family member dropping off groceries at his home.

The victim was last seen alive Thanksgiving evening when his family dropped him off at his home.

Authorities say someone apparently went through Loehlein's home. Only a vague description exists of a male seen in the victim's driveway Saturday morning and leaving the area dressed in "winter clothing."

WCCO-TV reported Loehlein was a former employee of WCCO Radio who tended to the station's transmitter in Coon Rapids.
