A Girl On A Bicycle Hits A Van Only Suffers Minor Injuries

A 12 year old girl was hospitalized with only minor injuries after her bike collided with a van.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon around 2:30 at Cooper Avenue and West Division Street.

The female bicyclist from St. Cloud was southbound in the crosswalk crossing Division Street against a "Do Not Walk" signal on the east side of the road.

The Van, driven by 42 year old James Braun of Milaca was also southbound on Cooper Avenue making a left turn onto Division Street on a green arrow.

The bicyclist drove into the side of the van. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the van was not injured.
