CROW WING COUNTY -- A broadside crash in Crow Wing County on Saturday night left seven people hurt.

The state patrol says the incident happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. near Crow Wing State Park.

A pickup traveling on Highway 371 broadsided a car driven by 18-year-old Nathan Liter of Eden Valley. Liter was not hurt but one of his passengers, 20-year-old McKayla Shockey of Eden Valley, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the pickup, 44-year-old John Barnes, as well as passengers 33-year-old Kimberly Barnes, 13-year-old Ella Barnes, 7-year-old Simon Barnes, 4-year-old Katelyn Barnes, and 3-year-old Meghan Barnes, all of Little Falls, each suffered non life-threatening injuries.
