COLUMBUS - The Minnesota Gophers men's basketball team lost its third straight after falling to the Ohio Buckeyes 64-46 on Saturday.

Ohio State outscored Minnesota 46-18 in the second half to easily secure the victory. Sam Thompson led the Buckeyes with 19 points.

Andre Hollins led the Gophers with 13 points, DeAndre Mathieu also added 12.

The Gophers are now 17-11 overall this year. They return home on Tuesday night to take on the Iowa Buckeyes at 6:00 p.m.
