ST. CLOUD - An exhibit that explores the accomplishments, sacrifices, and the challenges of the Greatest Generation opens tomorrow (Saturday) at the Stearns History Museum. It's titled "Minnesota Homefront, World War II" and is a traveling exhibit on loan from the Minnesota History Center.
Spokesman Aaron Novodvorsky says people today have no idea how much Americans sacrificed during World War II.
The exhibit features audio interviews, songs of the period, and a bin of letters home from the war.
It will be on display through May 12th. It's open during the Stearns History Museum's regular hours, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m.
