ST. CLOUD - The 15th annual Minnesota Organic Conference had a great turn out for day one of the two day event. With nearly 80 different exhibitors the conference covered everything from organic certification to renewable energy alternatives.

Some companies like MOSA are new to the conference this year. MOSA Inspection Manager, Jenny Cruse says it's exciting to meet new people and it's nice to have the chance to talk about what MOSA has to offer.

Other companies such as Mississippi Top Soil keep coming back to the conference year after year. Mississippi Top Soil Co-Owner, Brad Matuska says the event helps people in the organic industry stay connected.

Not only does the conference highlight organic options but also sustainable energy options. All Energy Solar Consultant, Nick Nelson says that solar energy can be an option for anyone. Nelson's elaborate solar energy map helps guide people as to where they should place their solar panels.

If you missed out on today's portion of the conference you can still catch the second half of the conference tomorrow (Saturday) from 7:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. at Rivers Edge Convention Center.
