
1 Person Injured In Stearns County Crash
MELROSE TOWNSHIP - 1 person was hurt after the driver of the car fell asleep and went off the road.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. Friday on Interstate 94 near Highway 4.
Authorities say a car driven by 70-year-old Robert Duncan from Fergus Falls, was driving west I-94 when he fell asleep; The car veered into the ditch and eventually struck a cable barrier.
Duncan's passenger, 61-year-old Dawn Koennicke from Fergus Falls, was taken to Melrose Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Duncan was not injured in the crash.
