Woman Crashes Car While Reaching For Cell Phone

ST. CLOUD - A Sartell woman was hurt in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 23 in St. Cloud.

Police say the incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. last (Friday) night in the 1700 block.

Michelle Schultz was heading west when she reached for her cell phone, which caused her to cross the median, go up onto the sidewalk of the eastbound lane, she then hit an embankment causing her to go airborne, and then strike a house.

Schultz suffered non life-threatening injuries.  She was also given a ticket for careless driving and inattentive driving.
