Wolves Hold On To Beat Pistons
The Minnesota Timberwolves topped the Detroit Pistons 120-114 Monday night. The Wolves are now 6-4 on the season.
The Timberwolves hit a team record eight three-pointers in the first quarter on their way to a 41-26 lead. However, the Pistons would claw their way back into the game and kept it relatively close throughout.
Wolves forward Andrew Wiggins continued his run of impressive play this season with a 33 point effort, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
The Timberwolves will host the San Antonio Spurs at Target Center Wednesday night. The game can be heard on WJON.
