WINNIPEG - Niklas Backstrom collected 37 saves in his return as the Wild beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 in a shootout.

Nino Niederreiter and Zach Parise both scored for the Wild in regulation. Parise scored with 4:55 remaining to tie the game 2-2.

The game had to be decided through a shooout, Mikko Koivu and Charlie Coyle both scored to give the Wild a shootout victory.

The Wild are now 15-5-4 this season. Minnesota returns to action Monday night at St. Louis to take on the Blues. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
