Services will be private for Wanda Victor, 92 of St. Cloud who passed away at Legends at Heritage Place in Sartell on Thursday.

Wanda and her twin brother Wayne were born in St. Cloud to Lyle and Elizabeth Hall. She enjoyed her younger years playing in the ravine in St. Cloud, swimming in the Mississippi River and Watab Lake, bicycling, ice skating on Lake George and riding her motor scooter. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1943 and enjoyed planning and attending many class reunions. She was employed by Dr. Lahr as a dental assistant and then worked for Bell Telephone in town as an operator and supervisor until her marriage to George Victor.

Wanda and George raised two children. Wanda always loved the latest fashions and all types of beautiful and unusual things. She loved ice skating and roller skating with friends at the arena. She also loved shopping.

Survivors include her children, Michael Victor (Ramona) and Deborah Jude (Dale DeZeller); and extended family “out West”. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 2005; twin brother Wayne Hall and sister Valeria Ivanick.

Wanda’s family wishes to extend deep gratitude to the staff and residents of Legends at Heritage Place for the care and friendship that was shown over the past two years and to the staff of Heartland Hospice. In remembrance of Wanda, memorials are preferred to HeartlandHospiceFund.org or the Tri County Humane Society.
