Vehicle Crash in St. Joseph Under Investigation

ST. JOSEPH -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office and St. Joseph Police Department responded to a crash just after 2:00 p.m. this afternoon (Thursday).

16-year-old Hannah Froland, of St. Cloud, was driving a 2002 Volkswagon Beetle when she tried to cross County Road 75 in front of another vehicle.

26-year-old Leshawn East, of Sartell, was driving his 2006 Nissan Maxima west on County Road 75, when he struck the drivers door of Froland's vehicle.

Froland was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
