UPS Ready for Busy Week

UNDATED - This is the busiest week of the year for the folks at UPS.  Company calls it "peak week" and plans to deliver 120 million packages around the world.

They offer some tips for you, to make sure your package arrives safely.

Start with proper materials, like boxes designed for shipping, packaging tape, and foam peanuts.

Remove batteries before shipping and wrap them separately.

Seal home-made holiday treats in an interior airtight container or plastic bag.

If you're flying for the holidays, avoid the hassle of airport screening and ship your gifts ahead of time.

And finally, don't let gifts and packages pile up on your doorstep.
