Tractor Destroyed by Fire in Meeker County

MEEKER COUNTY - A farm tractor was destroyed in a fire in Meeker County on Friday.

Authorities responded to the blaze just after 10:20 a.m. in the 19400 block of County Road 1 in Greenleaf Township.

A skid loader was being used to move hay bales on the property. It was parked and was later found on fire.

The loader is a total loss and was valued at $30,000.

The Sheriff's Office says the owners of the property are 64-year-old Daniel Barka and 40-year-old Joshua Barka, both of Litchfield. No one was hurt in the fire.
