ST. CLOUD — There is all kinds of fun happening this weekend around Central Minnesota. You can enjoy a musical tribute to Carole King at Pioneer Place, legendary pianist Kenny Baron perform at St. Benedict's, Flo Rida rocking at Mystic Lake, Seussical performed by the St. John's Boys Choir and Halloween fun at A and G Produce.     TAPESTRY - The Music of Carole King

    Pioneer Place

    Carole King brought the singer/songwriter phenomenon to life with one of the most successful albums in pop music. The songs from the album Tapestry took on added resonance when delivered by King's warm and compelling voice. Starting tonight you’re gonna hear the whole album along with a few other Carole King gems performed by Justin Ploof and the Throwback at Pioneer Place. Tickets for the show are $28 in advance and $30 at the door. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday.

    Kenny Barron Trio

    Gorecki Theater

    Legendary pianist Kenny Barron is bringing his smooth and elegant style to the Gorecki Theater this weekend. One of the most admired pianists in jazz today, Barron has appeared on hundreds of recordings, as both a band leader and sideman, playing with notable musicians. Tickets range between $10 to $30 dollars. He will be taking the stage starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.

    Flo Rida

    Mystic Lake Casino

    One of the most recognizable international artists is bringing his club anthems and hip hop beats to the Mystic Showroom this weekend. Flo Rida came onto the scene in 2007 and has sold over 80 million digital singles worldwide. He is mostly recognized for his hit songs “Club Can’t Handle Me,” “Good Feeling,” and” Whistle." He will be performing at the Mystic Showroom Saturday starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the show range between $60-$70.

    The St. John's Boys' Choir - Boys on Broadway: Seussical

    Stephen B. Humphrey Theater

    It's Dr. Seuss like you haven't seen it before. Join your friends Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, and all the Whos in Whoville for this magical, musical adventure through the Jungle of Nool. The St. John's Boys' Choir will be performing Seussical, the musical performance based off of the famous books. This is the choir's season opening performance which has fun for the whole family. Tickets for the show are $16 for adults, $12 for Seniors/Students, $5 for kids ages 5-12, and free for children 5 & under. Showtime starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
