Student Curriculum Main Focus For Sauk Rapids-Rice School Board [AUDIO]

SAUK RAPIDS -- With a lot of items on the agenda, the Sauk Rapids-Rice school board held their organizational meeting this evening (Monday).

Current board chair Lisa Braun was named to the same position, with Mark Hauck named vice-chair.

Braun says last year was a success and the board continues to follow up on their promises.

With teacher contracts already settled, Braun says they will continue to offer students many educational opportunities.

She also says the hiring of a curriculum director and curriculum/business office secretary will be the boards top priority.

The board hopes to have both positions filled by the start of the next fiscal year.
