Stearns County Road 1 in Sartell to Close For 2 Months

SARTELL -- A Sartell road closure which will have a major impact on traffic begins Wednesday.

Stearns County Road 1 will close for approximately two months. The closure will be between LeSauk Drive and just north of Heritage Drive. Heritage Drive will also remain closed at County Road 1.

The closure is necessary for the construction of a new roundabout at the Heritage Drive intersection.

Local traffic will be able to access Rover Oaks Lane and homes along County Road 1, but detours will be posted for all other traffic.

The new roundabout should be open by the end of October.

In a separate project, MnDOT continues work on improving Highway 15 in that area. That project should be completed by the end of August.
