Stearns County Hosting Courthouse Tours

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County District Court is helping celebrate Law Day by hosting an open courthouse event Friday.

It's your chance to meet a pair of Minnesota Supreme Court Justices, take a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the courthouse and learn about the inner workings of the court system.

The event kick-off and plaque dedication ceremony will start at 12:45 p.m. in the Ceremonial Courtroom on the 3rd floor of the courthouse. Supreme Court Justices Lorie Gildea and Margaret Chutich will offer remarks in the welcoming ceremony.

Tours will be held every half-hour from 1:00-3:30 p.m..

There will be an information fair display on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor rotundas inside the courthouse from 12:30-4:30 p.m..
