Stearns County Crash Sends One To Hospital

HOLDING TOWNSHIP -- One person was sent to the hospital and another was treated at the scene of a crash in Stearns County's Holding Township today.

Sheriff's officials say a car driven by 38-year-old Fred Loehrer of Sauk Rapids failed to yield at the intersection of County Roads 3 and 17 resulting in a crash. Loehrer was treated at the scene. It happened at about 11:20 a.m.

The driver of the other car, 57-year-old Leon Wiener of Belgrade was taken to St. Cloud Hospital where he was treated and released.
