UNDATED - If you're planning on camping at one of Minnesota's 72 State Parks, you'd better move fast.

The DNR says about 30% of the campsites are nonreservable and are available on e first-come, first-served basis.  So, the sooner you can get there today the better.

Another option is to reserve a group campsite. Group camps range in price from $30 to $75, and have multiple sites clustered together.

If you don't want to spend the night, you can spend the day hiking, biking, paddling and geocaching.  A daily permit is $5, and an annual permit is $25.
