St. Cloud VA Host Resource Fair for Caregivers [AUDIO & PHOTO]

ST. CLOUD -- There are many ways to provide care to people who need it.

The St. Cloud VA held a resource fair this (Friday) morning to provide better understanding in how to care for veterans.

Jessica Behrends is the Caregiver Support Coordinator at the St. Cloud VA. She says the event is meant as an educational tool.

The Celebration of Caregivers included a number of booths with helpful information on adult care, nutrition, transportation and faith in action.

Both VA staff and outside resources were on hand to help show options veterans have.

Behrends says caregivers are vital not only in what they do, but for individuals who look after a loved one at home.

Behrends says anyone can be a caregiver and knowing the best way to help provide care for our veterans will help them throughout their life.
