ST. CLOUD -- With dozens of pedestrian related traffic incidents each year, and in an active downtown St. Cloud, pedestrian safety is an important topic.

To help educate the community, the St. Cloud Police Department's Campus Area Police Services (CAPS) unit will be holding a pedestrian safety campaign Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Officers will be in and around St. Cloud State University educating both drivers and pedestrians on current laws through traffic enforcement and by handing out lanyards with safety tips on them.
