ST. CLOUD -- A warrant for the arrest of a St. Cloud man has been canceled after he was found and arrested in Texas.

Court records show 46-year-old Matthew Hall failed to appear at a June 6th hearing on child pornography charges. A Stearns County judge issued a warrant for Hall's arrest at that time. He was later found in Cibolo, Texas and returned to Minnesota.

Hall is charged with five felony counts of possessing child pornography stemming from an investigation which started in 2015. Search warrants and subpoenas turned up images of young boys in sexual situations in images stored on Hall's cellphone. Court records show Hall admitted to having the images on his phone and had a sexual interest in boys ages 10-13, but claimed he did not wish to act on that interest.

Hall's next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, August 26th. He's being held on $30,000 bail without conditions or $5,000 with conditions.
