Souhan; Gopher Football Could be Rose Bowl Bound [PODCAST]

The Gopher football team is ranked #9 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll after beating Northwestern Saturday to improve to 10-1.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He thinks if the Gophers can beat #14 Wisconsin Saturday they will at worst be headed to play in the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1961.  The winner of the Minnesota/Wisconsin game will play Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game.  Listen below.

The Packers looked pretty terrible Sunday night in their 37-8 loss at San Francisco.  Jim thinks this opens the door for the Vikings to surge ahead of Green Bay in the NFC North.  Jim was impressed with Seattle's win at Philly and says the Vikings will have their hands full when they play at Seattle on Monday December 2.
