St. Cloud Cathedral graduate Chris Morris finished 46th out of 66 competitors in the 100 meter freestyle event at the United States men's swimming/diving Olympic Trials Tuesday in Indianapolis.

Metro Bus serves the St. Cloud area and plans significant changes over the next couple years. Metro Bus Chief Operating Officer Dave Green joined me on WJON. He says ridership numbers are seeing a significant rebound which amounts to a 10% increase in ridership year over year.

Fox 9's Town Ball tour will stop in Pierz Wednesday June 19. Fox 9 will broadcast live from the ballpark at 5 p.m. prior to the game and again at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. They will also make the game available to watch on their stream on FOX9.com, FOX LOCAL and on FOX 9's YouTube channel.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a burglary on the 300 block of 33rd Avenue North. Alicia Mages with Tri County Crime Stoppers says suspects broke into several businesses and stole electronics.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Stearns County at 11:30 Monday night and it stayed in affect until 12:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The city of St. Joseph continues to have a small town feel but their growth both commercially and residentially has transformed the community. St. Joe Mayor Rick Schultz joined me on WJON. St. Cloud Cathedral gradate Christopher Morris swam at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis Sunday in the 200 meter men's freestyle. He did not qualify for the Olympic team in that event but he still has one more event to participate in.

St. Nicholas is an unincorporated community in Luxemburg Township in Stearns County. The community is south of Cold Spring, west of Marty and north of Watkins. St. Nicholas falls within the ROCORI school district.
