Several New State Laws Go Into Effect On Monday
UNDATED - Several new state laws go into effect on Monday, August 1st.
The much talked about alternative pathways to teacher licensure law begins. Candidates who want to get into teaching can be granted a two-year limited license.
All teachers and assistant teachers at child care centers must complete CPR training.
Churches and sportsmen's clubs will become exempt from food inspections.
Tougher penalty's will be put in place for fleeing a police officer resulting in a death, and also for harming a police dog.
And it will become easier for larger fire departments to donate their old equipment to smaller departments.
