School Lunch Prices Increasing in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- The cost of a lunch is about to go up throughout St. Cloud schools.

The St. Cloud area school board voted Thursday night to raise the price by .10 cents for the 2013-2014 school year.

The price of an elementary lunch will increase from $2.30 to $2.40, secondary school lunches will rise from $2.50 to $2.60, while an adult lunch will stay the same at $3.75. The price increases will not change for any breakfast offerings.

The changes were brought to the board after a recommendation from the administration.
