SAUK RAPIDS - Sauk Rapids police say shots were fired during an armed hold-up.

The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. last (Monday) night at 1305 15th Street Northeast.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20's, about six feet tall.  He wore a bandana over his face, along with a hooded sweatshirt.

Police Chief Perry Beise says the incident happened outside an apartment complex.  The victim was just getting home from work when he was confronted.

The Suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim, and then ran to a car that was parked across the parking lot with the engine idling.

The man fired the gun twice, but there were no injuries.
