Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS - A Benton County man has died in a motorcycle crash. Sauk Rapids Police Chief Perry Beise says it happened just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Benton Drive South, north of the Highway 10 overpass.

Witnesses say the motorcycle was going south toward the overpass when it hit the end of the median.

The driver was thrown from the bike and died at the scene. He's been identified as 63-year-old Donald Schreifels.
