Beginning next year, some  Sartell grade schoolers who would be attending Pine Meadow elementary will be enrolling in Oak Ridge.

During last night's meeting, the school board unanimously voted to shift over 100 students from 3 district areas.

The goal is to solve the growing problem of overcrowding in Pine Meadows. Parent Lori Fuchs says that the decision, while necessary, doesn't mean it will be easy.

Students who will be in 4th grade - the last year before middle school - will be exempt from the shift, as will students who have parents that work in the same school.
