Sartell-St. Stephen School Board Picks Superintendent

SARTELL - The Sartell-St. Stephen school board has picked the man they want to lead the district.

Last (Thursday) night the board agreed to enter contract negotiations with Jeff Schwiebert.  He most recently served as Superintendent of North Scott Community School District in Eldridge, Iowa.

If they can come to terms on a contract, Schwiebert will officially start on July 1st.

Interim Superintendent Mike Spanier will continue in the role through June.

Sartell-St. Stephen started with a pool of nearly 40 candidates for the job.
