Sartell-St. Stephen Board Ready To Pick Superintendent Candidates

SARTELL - This is a big week for the Sartell-St. Stephen school district, as they search for their next superintendent.

The school board is meeting at 5:00 p.m. tonight (Monday) with the search firm School Exec Connect to go over the list of applicants.  They're planning to choose six or seven people to bring in for interviews.  Those interviews will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday.

The board will then narrow the field to two or three finalists on Wednesday night.  The next round of interviews will be held next week on February 3rd, 5th and (if needed) the 6th.  Each finalists will be invited for an all-day interview, including an open forum with the community at 5:00 p.m.

The board plans to offer a contract to one of the candidates by the end of February.
