Sartell Mayor Declares Today “Sartell Muskies Day” After Championship [AUDIO]

SARTELL -- After winning the 2013 Class C State Baseball Tournament, the Sartell Muskies were honored in a special way tonight (Monday).

Sartell Mayor Joe Perske announced that today would be "Sartell Muskies Day."

Randy Beckstrom is the head coach of the Championship Muskies and says this honor was a surprise.

The Muskies went 29-2 over their Championship Season and Beckstrom says his team worked hard all year.

Beckstrom says the city of Sartell has been very supportive during their season and is proud they could bring this milestone to the city.
