Roger Claassen, age 44, of Princeton went to heaven unexpectedly Monday, October 19, 2015 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Roger was born November 19, 1970 in Anoka, MN the son of George and Lois (Johnson) Claassen.
Roger grew up in Princeton and attended Princeton High School, graduating in 1989. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Robin Yahnke on September 8, 2001 at Freshwater’s United Methodist Church in Princeton. To this union three daughters were born, Megan, Grace and Allison. Roger worked mainly as a plumber, but was a handy man of all types, he could fix anything. Roger was a quiet man but a practical joker. He loved playing pranks, laughing and bringing joy to his family and friends. Roger enjoyed flying RC airplanes, going fast riding his motorcycle and snowmobile, farming and John Deere Tractors and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Roger is survived by his wife Robin; daughters, Megan, Grace and Allison; father George; sisters, Debbie (Bob) Bugella, Valerie (Jim) Glasow and Amy (Fiancé Kevin) Claassen; parents-in-law Lowell and Charlotte Yahnke; great friends Rob “the Knob” and “Sally”; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Lois, and many aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM Monday, October 26, 2015 at Freshwaters United Methodist Church, River Campus in Princeton. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 4-8PM at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Baldwin Cemetery, Princeton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
