Rice Man Arrested After Allegedly Running From Police on Stolen Motorcycle
SARTELL - A Rice man was arrested on Saturday after allegedly running from police on a stolen motorcycle.
Sartell Police say the incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Highway 15.
An officer tried to stop a motorcycle for not having a working tail light.
The driver didn't stop and a short vehicle chase took place. The driver crashed the motorcycle and wouldn't listen to officer commands and was ultimately tased and arrested.
The driver, 30-year-old Travis Jacob of Rice, was taken to Stearns County Jail to face multiple charges. The motorcycle was found to be stolen from St. Cloud.
