UNDATED - This is National Protect Your Identity week and the Better Business Bureau is raising awareness for child ID theft.

Identity theft affected over 8 million adult victims last year, but it's children that may be 51 times more likely than adults to have their identity stolen.

Dana Bagerow, the president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau says "Everyone is at risk for identity theft, but children are particularly vulnerable."

National Protect Your Identity week will run through the 22nd with a special "Secure Your ID Day" held by the Better Business Bureau on Saturday.
