UPDATE: Man Found Dead in Jordan Home Following Shootout

ST. LOUIS PARK (AP) - Authorities say a man believed to be the 41-year-old suspect involved in a shootout with St. Louis Park police was found dead inside a home in Jordan.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, a man was found dead early Wednesday morning in the home where police believe David Michael Winters was hiding following a daylong manhunt.

Officers responded to a St. Louis Park business Tuesday morning following reports of an armed suspect. A man was inside a vehicle in the parking lot and shots were fired when officers arrived. No officers were hurt.

The gunman fled the scene. Police were notified Tuesday afternoon that the man may be headed to Jordan.
