One Dead, 1 Arrested After Shooting In Mahtomedi

MAHTOMEDI, Minn. (AP) - The Washington County Sheriff's office has arrested one person in a fatal shooting.

Reports say authorities received a call of a shots fired at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday in Mahtomedi.

The sheriff's office says when deputies arrived they found 46-year-old David Robert Frigaard dead of a single gunshot wound.

The office says one suspect is in custody and "there is no immediate threat to public safety."

Police said the suspect will be identified once he has been charged.
