ST. CLOUD -- The building may not look the same, but the same cool treats will be offered when the new Dairy Queen opens along St. Cloud's 25th Avenue South tomorrow.

The former Division Street DQ was torn down to make way for a new CVS Pharmacy. DQ owner Bob Lahr says that was a bittersweet time because the old location had stood for 63 years. But, he's excited to open his new store and see many of the familiar faces he's served over the years.

Lahr says they tried to incorporate as many of the features from the old store as they could, but he says Dairy Queen doesn't allow red and white buildings anymore.  Even so, Lahr says they appealed to the corporate headquarters to allow the red tiles beneath the walk-up windows that was a centerpiece of the old location.

Some new features include products from the Orange Julius line and a drive-thru lane.

Lahr says their hours will be the same as they always have been 10:00-to-10:00 during the week, 10:00-to-10:30 on Fridays and Saturdays and 11:00-to-10:00 on Sundays.
