Missing Brooklyn Park Man with Alzheimer’s Found Dead

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) -- An 89-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing from his Brooklyn Park home has been found dead.

Authorities say Sylvester Smith apparently walked away from his home in the Minneapolis suburb Saturday morning, prompting searches. His body was found Sunday.

The Hennepin County medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
