Man Sentenced for Repeatedly Abusing Girl

ST. CLOUD -- A man who pleaded guilty to repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl has been sentenced to prison.

A Stearns County judge has sentenced 46-year-old Shannon Hauser to 42 years behind bars.

Hauser pleaded guilty to two counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with someone under 16-years-old in January.

Hauser and his wife, 38-year-old Nikki Hauser, are accused of repeatedly sexually abusing the girl dating back to at least 2011 and continuing until early 2017. The girl told a social worker the couple would force the girl to engage in sex acts with them at least once per week and up to three times per day.

Nikki Hauser has been charged with 11 felony counts of aiding and abetting 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 16-years-old. Her next court appearance is Monday, March 5th.
