‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ Event Has $100K Goal [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - The 5th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is this Saturday in St. Cloud.

Event Chair Shelly Teff says they're planning a celebration to start the day.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. Cloud State University Fieldhouse.  There will be a DJ, hoola hoop group, zumba, and the SCSU dance and cheer team.  The opening ceremonies are at 8:30 a.m., with the first lap inside the fieldhouse at 8:50 a.m.

Teff says you can just show up on Saturday morning, if you want to join in.

Teff says the cost to register is $35.

Their goal is to raise $100,000 on Saturday for the American Cancer Society.
