Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Kicks Off Saturday

ST. CLOUD - Making Strides Against Breast Cancer kicks off tomorrow morning (Saturday) at St. Cloud State University.

 This 3 mile noncompetitive fund-raising walk begins at 9 a.m. to support breast cancer research.

The American Cancer Society says that about 4100 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in Minnesota alone. Nearly half of those women will go to the American Cancer Society for treatment.

Participants can sign up for the walk on the day of the event but are encouraged to register prior to Saturday.
