Loubelle L. Kiekow, 96, Sauk Rapids

March 13, 1918 - November 27, 2014

Loubelle L. Kiekow, age 96, passed away Nov. 27, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. In respect of Loubelle’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

Loubelle was born in Rice, MN to William & Emma (Erdmann) Gronau on March 13, 1918. She married Reinhard Kiekow on Sept. 30, 1943 at the Evangelical & Reform Church in Rice, MN. Loubelle was a member of Peace United Church of Christ. She enjoyed her time on the farm and had a special love for all animals. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, playing 500 and visiting. Loubelle had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, was feisty, and loved the outdoors.

Loubelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reinhard in June of 1974; brother, Harley Gronau; and sister, Phyllis Frerich. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Kiekow and Pauline Gronau.

The family wishes to thank Good Shepherd Lutheran Home and St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful care given to Loubelle.
