Johnnies’ Fasching Talks SJU Football [AUDIO]

St. John's charted a monumental upset on Saturday when they topped #2-ranked St. Thomas 20-18 in St. Paul. With the win, SJU and first year coach Gary Fasching improved to 3-0 on the season.

Fasching joined the Granite City Cafe (AM 1390 The Fan 12-2 pm weekdays) to talk about the big win and to preview this weekend's homecoming game with Concordia.

Fasching says that not many people thought they had a chance to win, but the players and coaches stepped up for the win.

A sea of red-clad Johnnies fans stormed the field at St. Thomas over the win. Coach Fasching says that he has seen the opposite result at SJU, so it was good for the fans to get a little friendly revenge.
