John “Jack” E. Weber, 79, Sauk Rapids

June 3, 1936 - August 19, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Minden Township, rural Sauk Rapids, for John E. “Jack” Weber, age 79, of Sauk Rapids who died Wednesday at his home. Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. A gathering of friends and family will be one hour prior to services at the church in rural Sauk Rapids. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

John E. “Jack” Weber was born on June 3, 1936 to Frank and Ann (Duffner) Weber in St. Cloud. He married Helen Thielen on June 28, 1958 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Jack was a member of the U.S. Army and honorably served. He was employed by Anderson Trucking as a truck driver for over 34 years. Jack loved spending time with his family and loved ones. He also enjoyed being on his farm, taking care of his dogs, and watching birds and wildlife from his window. Jack will be dearly missed.

He is survived by daughter and sons, Anna Mae “Annie,” Jeffrey (Lori) and William (Denise) of Sauk Rapids, and Shawn (Marcia) of Cold Spring; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; son, Frank J.; sister, Mary Lyth; brother, Wally and brother-in-law, Brennan Thielen.
