BISMARCK - The St. Cloud State Huskies men's basketball team (17-11, 13-6 NSIC) fell 79-99 against the University of Mary Marauders (10-15, 8-11 NSIC) Friday night.

The Huskies were lead by red shirt sophomore Gage Davis and junior Jon Averkamp. Davis finished with 38 points and 10 rebounds while Averkamp had a career high 28 points.

The Huskies struggled to keep up with the hot shooting Marauders. The Marauders shot over 60 percent from the field and over 40 percent from the three point line.

Before the men's game the SCSU women's basketball team (10-13, 8-11 NSIC) pulled off the come from behind win 82-74 over the University of Mary Marauders (12-15, 7-12 NSIC).

The Huskies women were down by eleven at the half before they really turned it on in the second half.

Led by senior guard Betsy MacDonald, SCSU out scored the Marauders in the second half 53-34. MacDonald finished the game with a team high 21 points and shot over 50 percent from the field.

Up next for the Huskies basketball teams is a double header at Minot State University Saturday. The Huskies Women tip-off at 3:00 p.m. and the men tip off at 6:00 p.m. Listen to both games on AM 1390.
