MONTICELLO -- The Highway 25 road project in Monticello is entering its final phase this week. Traffic will be routed onto newly paved northbound lanes of Highway 25 either tomorrow or Friday.

The final stage of the project will take place on the southbound side of Highway 25 and include the remaining portions of County Road 11/14.

Workers will be removing the existing pavement, doing grading work, curb and gutter construction, new pavement and a new signal system at County Road 11.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the first part of November.
