ST. CLOUD -- A road construction project on Highway 10 between Clear Lake and Big Lake is getting started two weeks early because of the mild spring.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin the 14-mile resurfacing project tomorrow.

Westbound traffic will be switched over to the eastbound lanes, creating single lane traffic in each direction.

The project will last throughout the summer and be completed by early August.

Expect slowdowns and delays. MnDOT suggests you find alternate routes if possible.
